Spotless Minds

‘Spotless Minds’ is a serial painting that explores

unsolved mystery, anxious imagination, traumatic memory,

infantile sexuality, forgettable relationships, aimless drive,

restless body, and fear from childhood.

Aesthetic Hygienics

‘Aesthetic Hygienics’ is a visualization of mysophobia in the art-making process.

I define the term ‘aesthetic hygienics’ as a vague sense that lurks somewhere

between ethics, humiliation, and fear.

It is a certain criterion for judgment functioning to secure our aesthetic sanitation.

Mysophobic artists continuously pursue the aesthetic asepsis condition.

Over the field of aesthetic hygienics, every artist is a quack doctor,

and malingering patient at the same time.

We complain about non-existent symptoms.

We open limbs and expose our excretion hole, vomit hole, and procreation hole.

We smell the smell of swarming germs from the holes.

The germs may murder the artist, so they must be cleaned up.

Informal Bodies

Pathological symptoms and memories of the body.
